Valve Repair Workshop

We are pleased to introduce our new Valve repair facility. Our Workshop provides a machining, welding and repair facility that includes horizontal and vertical boring, N/C and conventional turning and milling, coded welding and Stellite® hard facing on a wide range of materials.

Repair of valve bodies is one of our specialties i.e. NDT to ANSI B16-34 Special Class when required and replace old seats and discs weld in new seats, replace bypass pipes if needed, also weld build of the BWE or welding of extension spools if required to meet customers overall lengths. Our repair procedures are as follows:

• Stress relieve to HTPS 1600301

• Shotblast/Locally grind to assist NDT

• Machine out seats

• MPI Examination to MOO3 Rev 0 in accordance with ANSI B16.34 Special class

• Ultrasonic to UO18 Rev. 1 in accordance with B16.34 Special class

• Grind out defects (clear by NDT)

• Weld repair to WPS 1600142

• Dress welds and NDT

• Weld in new seats to WPS 1600016

• Stress relieve to HTPS 1600301

• MPI Examination of seat weld to MO12

• MPI Examination repair areas M003

• BWE to customer supplied drawing

• If overall length is short, build up ends back to standard length

Furthermore we also supply various valve parts including Valve Stems/Spindles Assy, Belt Eyes, Bonnets Yokes, and Bushes etc. for most leading brands.

Whilst heavily involved in the valve and associated industries, general engineering is also well served with Customers ranging from within the Power Generation, Oil & Gas and Petrochemical.
